Let's Talk About the Issues
The Core Values of Dallas are Empathy, Ethics, Excellence and Equity. Our current representative does not follow these values.
The lack of respect and consideration for fellow council members and citizens of District 14 will end when I am elected.
It is the city’s responsibility to ensure that our streets are safe enough for our students to get to and from our schools. Requests by school leaders to improve conditions for pedestrians around our schools have been repeatedly denied.
I will forcefully advocate for safe crosswalks with lights at our neighborhood schools. It’s time for the city and our school district to work TOGETHER.
Property taxes are out of control. We must hold the line on backdoor tax increases through property value increases. Homeowners are being squeezed unfairly.
I will represent homeowners' budgetary concerns to City Hall - and advocate for tax relief.
Dallas is growing and changing. This can be a good thing when we negotiate to support area improvements while protecting the character of our neighborhoods.
I am committed to protecting homeowner rights in our unique neighborhoods as we reasonably grow and change.
Vanity projects like unchecked bike sharing and white water rapids in the Trinity River cost all of us.
I am committed to open and respectful dialogue with all stakeholders to ensure we do not impose downtown boondoggles on local neighborhoods.
